Easy 5 DIY Face Masks for that natural glow this season! :)

Hello everyone!

Here are some DIY face masks I swear by for a healthy glowing face!

1. Gram Flour Mask.

This mask is best for oily or combination skin. Mix 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tbsp gram flour. Add a dash o to the mixture for preparing a paste. Make sure that the consistency of the paste is not drippy. Wash your face and apply an even layer of this paste on your neck and face. Let it dry completely. Use cold water to remove it. This mask should be used every day by those who have oily skin. It prevents acne and forms a protective layer on the skin and leaves your face with a nice glow!

2. Clay Mask.

Mix 1 tbsp fuller’s earth with 1 tbsp rose-water and add a dash of honey to get a medium consistency paste. Apply the mask on your neck and face. Keep it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. It is the best mask for normal skin. Fuller’s Earth cleanses the skin by removing impurities. Honey locks in the moisture, keeping the skin hydrated. Works wonders for people having acne problems.

3. Papaya Mask.

Mix half a cup of papaya pieces with 1 tsp of honey and 1 tsp of yogurt. Blend it into a thick paste and then apply on well cleansed skin. Wait for ten minutes and wash off. Papaya contains ‘Papain’ which instantly brightens up your skin by removing tan and dark patches to an extent. Yogurt makes your dull skin look lighter. This one is a good skin brightening mask.

4. Coffee Mask.

Mix 1 tbsp of coffee with 1 tbsp of honey. Gently exfoliate on a clean face for 5 minutes and wash with cold water. Coffee has the added advantage of being rich in antioxidants. This is an excellent mask cum scrub as the coffee grains exfoliate skin while the honey provides moisture.

5. Tomato Mask

Mix 2 tsp of yogurt and 1 tsp of tomato paste and apply it on face. Wait for fifteen minutes. Rinse with cool water. This pack makes your skin radiant by removing dead cells, doing away with minor blemishes and absorbing toxins.  This will help brighten uneven skin tone and gently minimize the look of old acne scars and discolorations from the sun.

And BTW am currently crushing on, Dior Lip Sugar Scrub: This is an exfoliating and nurturing balm stick that has tiny grains of sugar. The concept is really different from anything I’ve tried before. I’m usually not a fan of lip scrubs because I find them messy. With this one, once you apply the particles melt away making the lips incredibly soft. It gives a natural glossy look and gave a — colour to my lips. It has a light minty scent. The sugar scrub is very gentle and not harsh on the lips. Very interesting product and a must have! You can get your hands on it here.

Let me know how those masks work for you! Happy Weekend Guys 🙂
